Wilfrid Laurier University Program Overview
Students participating in the stage fighting workshop
The BCI-WLU (Laurier Brantford) Program will provide a variety of courses allowing students with varying interests the ability to pursue studies in any discipline they may choose. Students will develop a broad academic background that will serve them well, both in their post-secondary school studies, and as members of our community after they have completed their formal education.
The Laurier Program allows students to work with other highly motivated, academic-minded students while developing leadership, presentation and collaboration skills through the unique Laurier Focus component. Students will also have the option of taking a first-year university course at Laurier Brantford while still attending high school.
The Laurier Focus Courses (taken throughout high school) utilize the overall expectations found in the Dramatic Arts in the Community curriculum. This curriculum has been selected due to its flexibility for integrated activities and its ability to emphasize leadership, presentation and teamwork/collaboration skills.
